Commission VII of the Indonesian House of Representatives visits Gili Meno to discuss sustainable tourism

On Monday, August 10, 2026, Commission VII of the Indonesian House of Representatives conducted a working recess visit to Gili Meno. The Chairman of Commission VII, Saleh Partaonan Daulay, presented a souvenir to the Deputy Regent of North Lombok, Kusmalahadi Syamsuri, with Deputy Chairwoman of Commission VII, Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, also present. The visit, held in Gili Indah Village, Pemenang Subdistrict, Tanjung, North Lombok, NTB, focused on several key areas for Gili Meno's development. These included sustainable tourism development, ensuring basic infrastructure, enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs and the creative economy, standardizing quality, and expanding tourism publicity.
