Visit Gilis runs this website, a guide to Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. For anything about your data, email hello@visitgilis.com.

Today you can read Visit Gilis without an account, and nothing on the site can be booked or paid for. This notice covers what happens when you browse the site or email us.

• Usage analytics. We use PostHog to count page views and clicks and to measure page speed. Unless you allow analytics cookies, it stores nothing on your device, keeps no identity between visits and records no screen sessions. Before anything is sent, we remove email addresses, booking references and similar details from page addresses and text.
• Technical logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser and the page asked for, to keep the site running and secure.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

• Needed for the site. We keep your cookie choice in your browser's storage so we don't ask again. This does not track you.
• Analytics cookies, only if you allow them. PostHog then keeps an identifier in a cookie and in your browser's storage, so visits from the same device are counted together.

You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.

• Vercel hosts the website.
• Supabase hosts our database.
• PostHog provides the usage analytics.
• OpenFreeMap serves the map images when you open a map, so it sees your IP address.

You can refuse analytics cookies, or withdraw your consent later, in Cookie settings. You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@visitgilis.com.
