We had a stunning meal at Uma Garden tonight, we were greeted by the staff so politely as we entered. Once we’d sat down, we were in awe of how beautiful the place itself was. The service was amazing, Asep, who served us was attentive, warm and friendly, thank you Asep for making our experience so special.
We had croquettes, 3 x strip loin steaks and the half chicken, followed by the pistachio tart. Each individual course was delicious, we all thoroughly enjoyed. Alongside this, the drinks were great. A large selection, some beautiful sounding cocktail, I wish I could have tried them all. The amaretto sour and found the pink were so yummy. Thank you again everybody.

Incredible!!!! Randomly picked this out from google maps with no expectations but it blew me away!! Every single thing was so well made from apetitizers, sides, drinks, to mains. So delicious and the service was amazing. Despite coming in about an hour before closing they didn't rush us and was extremely patient and on top of it all the food came out so quickly! Highly recommend this, wonderful spot!

Having discovered Uma Garden via a casual search for my birthday dinner, I can safely say it exceeded every expectation. From the initial warm welcome to the final decadent bite, the experience was phenomenal. While we originally opted for the air-conditioned interior, the beautifully curated alfresco area was too tempting to resist on a mild Bali evening.
We began with a communal charcuterie board—a superb balance of artisanal meats, cheeses, and honeycomb, which we devoured post-haste. The highlight, however, was the bespoke steak service; our cuts (a melt-in-the-mouth Wagyu 8-9MB and a robust dry-aged selection) were presented for approval prior to hitting the grill, ensuring absolute transparency and quality. Accompanied by a technical marvel in the form of a 100-layer lasagne and indulgent sides like the potato gratin, it was a masterclass in premium dining. Though we were too satisfied to manage dessert, the staff’s thoughtful birthday surprise was the perfect concluding note. A must-visit for anyone seeking culinary excellence in Bali
Dinner service at Uma Garden was great. Staff are warm and hospitable. The menu is easy to digest and order from with good options. I will admit the dining experience is pretty awesome.
The croquette and duck tortellini we ordered were fair at best. Both dishes had the right mouth feel, but could do better in terms of flavor. I'd still consider them decent.
The potato gratin was lovely ❤️
The dry aged wagyu we had was of great quality. This was our favourite dish of the night. You get to pick from 5 different condiments to go with the steak. But I've always found salt to be the best pairing for steak to bring out the flavor.
Total bill for the night for the above mentioned + 2 cocktails and 1 bottle of still water was 2.1M RP.
Ambience is great. The indoor and outdoor dining spaces make this spot a lovely location. Location is quite rain proof.

Dinner at UMA Gardens in Seminyak was, in many ways, a bittersweet experience. I like to be fair in my reviews, and at the end of the day the choice to visit is yours.
I booked a table for two at 7:45pm after reading several strong reviews. The online gallery matched the menu and pricing beautifully, which gave me confidence in my choice. We arrived a little early and were warmly welcomed, everyone greeted us right through to when we were seated. Menus and drinks were offered almost immediately.
Within five minutes we’d ordered our drinks and starters: I had the homemade croquettes while my wife chose the baked provolone. We didn’t want to feel rushed, so we decided to hold off on ordering our mains until we’d finished our starters. The starters were well received, robust in flavour and nicely presented. Our waitress checked in during this course, though unfortunately she chose the exact moments when both my wife and I had our mouths full to strike up conversation. It was friendly, but bordering on intrusive.
After finishing our starters, we asked for our two Chateaubriands to be cooked medium rare and requested that the kitchen begin preparing them in about ten minutes, as we wanted a short break between courses. When the mains arrived, the tableside presentation was excellent. However, when the chef cut into the steaks, one was perfectly medium rare while the other was closer to rare. For many diners, that would have been a deal-breaker, but as I don’t mind a rare steak, I let it go, though medium rare would have been ideal for that cut.
The steaks themselves were delicious, yet the service again began to feel a little over eager. The waitress attempted to clear plates before we’d finished, and as soon as I put down my fork, she whisked my plate away even though my wife was still eating. Moments later, I was served a "Happy Anniversary" cake while she was still halfway through her steak. It was a kind gesture, but awkwardly timed. Given the occasion, I didn’t want to make a fuss, so we smiled and carried on.
Once she’d finished, we waited for the table to be cleared so we could enjoy the cake together, which was beautifully done and tasted excellent. When it came time for the bill, however, service seemed to stall entirely. I found it surprisingly difficult to get anyone’s attention, even with a hand practically waved in view of a passing waitress.
And that, in a nutshell, is why our visit felt bittersweet, exceptional food let down by inconsistent service.

Lovely restaurant with a great ambiance. Tomy was super helpful and recommended the beef carpaccio which was one of the best I’ve ever had! The mojito and mule were both really good, too. I got the tortellini which was delicious. The charred sea bass definitely needed some salt. But the chocolate caramel dessert was to die for! Very pleased with the entire experience and flavors of the dishes
Great service and great food, definitely worth the premium price.
Four of us had dinner at Uma Garden and the service was super friendly and attentive, which is always a great start.
Out of the dishes we ordered, there were three highlights, the BBQ pork ribs were falling off the bone and very tender.
The grilled prawns were also beautiful, easy to take apart and full of flavour, although they could have used a more substantial sauce.
The potato gratin was exceptional, with a nice crispy edge to it.
Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit.

A very professional and well run steakhouse and I have savoured the finest ones across the globe. From a great selection of prime, premium, and aged cuts, some even rated with greater marbeling.our group of four chose various cuts and were all cooked to our individual specifications. Waiter permitted us to
Examine the cuts and ask questions of the chef. Scallop appetizers were amazing as well as the sides (salad, potatoes au gratin, mash, and French fries) although the sides were a bit on the small side for the asking price. Service was exemplary. Atmosphere had a nice vibe, conversations were easy to have, and overall decor was simple yet classy. Only downside to the atmosphere was the fact that one vantage point was of a lot that was comprised of debris and garbage. Erecting a privacy wall would have been a nice touch with no great cost. Bathrooms were spotless. To top it off, knowing we were leaving for our next destination, they brought a fudge brownie with whip cream as a complimentary “safe travels” treat. A 5 star review but with room for slight improvements to make the experience even better. A must stop for anyone wishing to experience a better more refined dining experience in Bali.
