Turtle Beach Hotel is located on Gili Air. Its cottages feature traditional Sasak building style and are built in rows to capitalize on ocean views. The cottages are surrounded by a tropical garden and have pool views. Each cottage has a spacious bedroom, a loft with a single bed, and a bathroom with natural stone and a semi-open area. Cottages are equipped with air conditioning, a 32-inch flat-screen LCD television with satellite channels, a safety deposit box, an emergency wall fan, and complimentary daily mineral water.

Booked for 2 night as my self reward on my birthday 😁 Spent great time here, the room is clean and good smell, AC work well, not really noisy even big bar with live music beside this hotel. Overall my time here was good 😊 Thanks for all staff with great service ❤️

Right on the beach. This place has been around since the last time we came over a decade ago. Staff are very friendly and nice. This place is well managed. Rooms are clean and traditional with a pool view. New bath and beach towels, free drinking water everyday, large fridge in room. Had a tasty breakfast on the beach every morning and loved it. The pool is relaxing and clean. Bamboo sunbeds facing the ocean to watch the sunrise. This side of the island is more authentic than the other side. Would definitely stay again. Wi-fi worked well.

Great service, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty. Basyril the manager was very helpful. The new Zero to Hero Dive center is highly recommend for SSI certification or pleasure dives.

Great for a one-night stay with my family. The location and setting were nice, but the outside lounging facilities by the beach could really be improved. The lounges were old and a bit mouldy, and the area felt untidy, so it didn’t provide a relaxing environment. With some updates, it could be a much more enjoyable spot

Beautifully located, great pool right on the beach. Had a family room, plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast was good, fruit, juice, coffee (Lombok) and a choice of dishes (eggs etc). Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Booked one night, stayed for a week. Rooms are basic but comfortable, staff very friendly, great location at the beach with corals and turtles. Noisy bars nearby, that play music until very late, depending on the day. Pool great, with many kids. Breakfast not great. Overall very good price for value.

My wife and I stayed at Turtle Beach Hotel for 10 days in August 2023. It is one of the few mid-range beachfront properties with a pool on Gili Air, and is located on the sunrise side of the island looking towards Lombok. There are numerous restsurants and bars in close proximity. Good snorkelling can be had straight off the beach in front of the hotel. We saw turtles every day.| Gili Air is extremely chilled and overall we had a lovely relaxing stay. All of the accommodation is in thatched roof joglo - style Bungalows on either side of the pool. The Bungalows furthest from the beach have no view, and the bungalows backing onto the neighbouring Raja Bar may have some noise issues at night. We only occasionally heard the all from the mosque in the centre of the island, and it was too far away to be any issue. Breakfast each morning was adequate with toast, eggs, fruit and coffee. The onsite restaurant wasn't open for food other than breakfast, but Biba Beach Village hotel next door would do room or poolside service if you wanted. |Bicycles and mask/snorkle/fins are available for hire (50k per day) from in front of the hotel. (Bike lights don't work so bring a head torch with you). |The manager of Turtle Beach was friendly, attentive and engaging, however most of the staff were young, untrained and had little clue about what they were expected to do.|The rooms were large with four poster beads, mosquito nets, AC, room safe and fridge. All rooms had a balcony with a couple of basic chairs. Wifi was pretty useless. The bathroom was set below the room level, with a set of wooden stairs to enter it, which always worried my wife at night as her mobility isn't great. One of the lights in our room was hanging by the wires and only worked intermittently. The shower was cold. The room was serviced daily. |The pool was large, and the water clean, although the area around the pool was pretty dusty and grubby and rarely cleaned by the staff. The sun loungers were in various states of repair. I found this lack of simple maintenance a bit frustrating. The beachfront area was also very underutilised, with the furniture needing repair. Overall though, we had a very relaxing stay and the maintenance issues were more frustrating than problematic. |Laundry can be done same day just around the corner at Banana Cottages for 25k/kg. The best dinner deals on the sunrise side were at Chillout BBQ. Next door Biba Beach hotel did good espresso coffee. |
