Its location is one of its strongest points: just a few minutes’ walk from the port, making it incredibly easy to find when you arrive on the island. No stress, no need for transport — you step off the boat, and you’re almost there. It’s also just 300 meters from the beach and close to the best sunset bars and local restaurants, while still being in a quiet, relaxing area. Everything you might need is within easy reach — food, beach, bars, and shops — yet the atmosphere at SayaMaya remains calm and serene. The architecture and interior design are exceptional: clean lines, natural materials, a refined aesthetic that feels both modern and warm. It’s a perfect spot not only to relax, but also to enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. The space is also incredibly photogenic — ideal for anyone who loves beautiful, thoughtful design.🥰😍

SayaMaya Boutique is truly a hidden gem. The host, originally from France, has brought exquisite taste, charm, and a sense of effortless beauty into every corner of this place. Her presence is as impressive as the hotel itself — charming, beautiful, professional, dedicated, and incredibly detail-oriented. You can feel the love and intention that went into creating this little heaven on Gili Air. The cleanliness is absolutely outstanding, everything feels fresh and immaculately cared for. The mattress and pillows deserve a special mention: genuinely heavenly to sleep on, one of the best nights’ rest I’ve had in a long time. The room is stunning, with beautiful Balinese-style details, and the bathroom/shower is equally elegant and perfectly designed. AC working perfectly, the bathroom faucets and electricity plugs and switches - very good quality, water has a good pressure. The outdoor area is gorgeous , peaceful, stylish, and full of charm and the swimming pool is simply stunning. The location is excellent, perfectly placed for exploring the island while still feeling calm and intimate. I stayed only one night, but it felt like visiting a close friend - warm, personal, and unforgettable. I truly did not want to leave. A perfect blend of comfort, aesthetics, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended - must stay place on Gili Air. I would return in a heartbeat.

Oh Saya Maya :):) sooo glad we booked here. Brand new place (been 3 months since it opened). Such a cute little place. Super cozy and elegantly designed. Love the design and so very cleaaannnn. Fresh and clean bed and super comfy. Amazing shower! Everything feels so fresh and clean. Really enjoyed my stay here. Everyone there made us feel like we were home. It’s the type of place you would want to come back to. Spent the afternoons cooling down in the pool and relaxing. Would really recommend this place.

Super beautiful place, beautiful design, super clean, super kind staff, super kind owner, very magical hidden spot in Gili Air 🩷 Recommended ✨✨ The owner of the place - Maya truly cares about her guests and always makes sure they're comfortable and happy. The architect of this place did a great job with details - lighting, bed size, towels, bed sheets, quality materials ~ all done with sensitivity and care. I came for 1 day, ended up staying for 3 weeks. The place feels like home 💛

We had a wonderful stay at Sayamaya. Maya and her staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Bonus: the resident cats were adorable and playful, they made our breakfasts and afternoons on the terrace and pool even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful – everything was spotlessly clean and the atmosphere was both tranquil, high-quality, and warmly homelike. The staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable, always ready to help and share great local tips, which made us feel truly welcome. We also appreciated the spotless pool and the fresh, high-quality breakfast. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly relax and enjoy, and one that I’d wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for both comfort and genuine hospitality. :)

Upon entry I was greatly warmly by the owner and shown a beautiful villa! It was new, bright, beautiful and welcoming. I was sad my stay was only for one day. The bed was comfy, the AC worked perfectly and the shower pressure was amazing. The grounds are so beautiful and relaxing. The natural lighting makes you want to take photos, it’s too good! Def don’t hesitate to book here. It’s worth it and more 🌹✨🔥. Perfect distance from the noise, but still very close to the action. I love the time and attention that was put into decorating the rooms and designing the hotel.
