The location was amazing. Every staff member was so helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and safe. A peaceful resort with a lot of island charm. The provided breakfast was filling, with hot and cold options. We loved the banana pancakes, Air conditioning worked great. Would love to go back!

So we recently stayed here for 5 nights. It was our first time in Gili Air, and Indonesia. I saw the reviews from this hotel, and a few good and a few bad. But here is my honest opinion: I feel like the heart and soul of this hotel, has not been here for atleast the past 10 years. The hotel is old, rundown, the rooms are not kept up. The curtains are so old, it's crusty and dirty. As mentioned, it feels like more than 10 years ago the hotel used to be amazing, had life! But now it's dead... the upkeep is no longer there. The pool, I didn't see anyone clean it, so I didn't dare to get in. The bathrooms are outside, which could be nice, but the toilets are old, the planks are old and loose. So nothing is upkept. They really need to do a big maintanance on this place. Also they only came to clean our rooms twice during our whole stay. Also we first had one room, which the AC didn't work. After we mentioned it was not working, we received another room which was much nicer, with an AC that was working. But again, all curtains, everything was old and crusty. The breakfast, is terrible. I'm sorry, it was. Even though, the staff is trying their best, it just feels like no one is keeping up a level of hospitality. The staff was very friendly to us, no complaints there. My biggest advice to this hotel: Please add back some heart into this hotel. Please have someone who cares about the hotel, to maintain it, to renew the hotel and bring back joy. The location is perfect, the beach is amazing. It's just the hotel is now old and run down. And it's a pity, because I really do believe if we came 10 years ago, it would have been amazing! I even saw that before they had a big buffet, lot's of food, music and everything... and now all dead 😔

We stayed for three nights and had a lovely time in Mola 2 . The hotel is located at the only turquoise spot of the island which is especially breathtaking in the mornings. Lots of tourists were sunbathing on their towels whilst hotel guests had the priority of using comfy sunbeds👌🏻 The hotel is rather quiet and the rooms are spacious with an en-suit bathroom although we stayed in the “ smallest” room type. The breakfast included eggs of your choice, noodles, fries, pancakes, fruits and coffe or tea. The snacks on the menu were rather cheap and delicious. The staff and hotel owner were very helpful and kind which made our stay even better. In brief, we would definitely stay at Mola 2 when visiting Gili Air again.

Location : wonderful. Near the sunset area and moreover it has maybe better view than others. Beach: The hotel has its own beach with turquoise sea. Breakfast: Best omlet in our Bali and Lombok trip with fruits and homemade cake. Service: they were very helpful , friendly and kind with their smiling faces. + The owner is also very polite. Price: quite reasonable Rooms: large and way better than expected . + quite silent + Thanks for amazing 4 daya

We stayed with a big group in Mola Mola (8 adults, 6 kids) and had a very nice time here. The entire compound is well looked after, the staff doesn’t cease to clean and arrange and maintain the pool and garden area all day. The pool is very big compared to most and made of pretty blue stone tiles. The bungalows are cute, with outdoor bathrooms, TV, very good beds, a foldout couch and new and clean air conditioning. From our experience the price to quality ratio here is great compared to most places. The breakfast also is very nice, with various options of bread, fresh fruit and an egg station, fresh juice, coffee, tea and cooked meals like fried rice noodles and pancakes… What made us decide to stay was the pretty location right on the beach, great water views, even its own beach section with deckchairs etc. Location is also handy cause it’s close to the Harbour and many nice restaurants on the beachfront like Mamapizza or Papaya. They also have their own restaurant, which they don’t advertise much (maybe only for guests?) but which makes very good chicken nuggets and saved me with a healthy soup one night. Thanks to the entire crew, we appreciated the nice and friendly atmosphere, the good advice in times of need (my husband was quite sick at some stage during the stay and you helped us to get medical assistance etc). We highly recommend this place, all the best for the future!

We booked this hotel via a Travel Agent and should have done more research on the reviews. |On arrival, the pool area is tired and almost looked to have algae in it - looks more like a pond. The room was dark, maybe so that you couldn't see how tired and worn the furniture is. The Air con wasn't on so it felt very musty, dark and dirty. The bathroom is outside and was overlooked with a dirty toilet. |We did not stay and immediately found alternative accommodation on Gili Air. |Mola Mola needs a complete overhaul if it still wishes to operate as a Deluxe accommodation choice as there are many other nicer places on the island for the same or similar price.

Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful, welcome drink was amazing, but superior room quality was a bit low. Cables are not in the walls, and room is a bit noisy. Pool was great, beach was amazing, but hotel needs some renovation. Breakfast was buffet, really delicious and we spent msot of our time on the island so great experience at all. Owner provided a computer, because we needed one so really kind and helpful people everywhere. Would recommend the hotel to anyone.
