Honestly loved this place. The food was so good. The beef cheek taco was unreal, really rich and full of flavour, and the ceviche was super fresh and light. We also tried the duck lobster gyoza and piri piri prawns which were both so good.
Cocktails were really fun too, not your typical drinks and actually done properly.
The whole place just has a great vibe. Live DJ, cool crowd, nice energy without feeling too hectic.
Big thanks to Dewi and Siska, they were both so lovely and made the whole experience feel really easy and welcoming.
Such a cool spot, will definitely be back.

Our experience at Kong was nothing short of extraordinary, our server Aldi provided us with the most incredible service (we will come back just for him) however the food was absolutely impeccable, we had two starters and three mains as well as a dessert and cocktails and everything was fantastic! By far one of our favourite places to eat in Bali and we cannot wait to come back!

Introverts nightmare but a gastronomes daydream!
The place was loud. Beyond loud. I will admit it was Friday but regardless I’ve been to elevated places that allow me to enjoy the social vibe and food WHILE being able to talk to the person DIRECTLY next to me without yelling and constantly having to lean in to hear them. Eventually we just refrained from talking because it was a hassle. Especially when everyone is trying to talk over the music.
Now the good part, the food. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! The tiger prawns, pork belly, and Wagyu beef burger were ASTOUNDING! I wish I could have had dessert but the staff handling the bar section were not only a bit slow, it the food also had a little bit of a wait time. With all the noise and overstimulation, truthfully we were so eager to just get our food, eat as fast as we could, pay the bill, and leave. I wonder if we just picked a horrible night to come which is why I still give it 5 stars BUT 4 for service and 3 for atmosphere. You can’t please everyone and in my mind, when I’m going to eat, whether it be with friends or my husbad(such as last night) I still prefer to be able to talk to people without yelling and having to constantly ask them to repeat themselves.
I want to go back so bad to try more food but the disdain of putting myself in that environment again is much stronger.

Came here yesterday night for dinner and I honestly had to actively stop myself from coming back again tonight lmao
First, let’s talk about the food. We got the Kong discovery menu for 2 and everything was just impeccable. Our favs: goats cheese (honourable mention for the amazing focaccia paired with it), gyoza, chilli shrimp w sourdough, vanilla panna cotta, and vanilla brown sugar ice cream - I wish I asked where they sourced their brown sugar from because it was so freaking goodddd!!!! The two mains were also really great- barramundi and short ribs. A bit expensive but the portion sizes are quite big and I think it’s worth it for the taste and quality of the food. Also highly recommend the vanilla passion fruit mocktail. We initially got one but after I tasted my bf’s I had to order another lol.
Next, on to the service. Impeccable service by the staff. Our waitress was so kind and friendly. Food came out fairly quickly but they were nice to ask if we wanted them to wait for us to finish what was on our table before bringing out the next dish. They were super proactive and friendly and happy to help anytime. We didn’t have an issues but I assume if any issues arose they’d be more than happy to help. Great service, thank you so much!!
Last but not least, the atmosphere- perfect!!! It’s nice and cool from the AC but not too cold, lights are dim but not too dim, restaurant is spacious, seats are super comfy, and it has a cute romantic date night vibe to it.
I think for Bali this restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but in our opinion it’s totally worth it for the top notch food, service and atmosphere. One more thing I’d like to add about the food is- all the elements of each dish tasted good individually, and EVEN BETTER paired together. You can tell they thought about what to put on the plate and how to pair different things with each other and make it work - that’s more than cooking, it’s almost like art, it takes a lot of thought and trial and error to achieve that balance. Also we were so full after the discovery menu - so the portions were def worth it for the price!
Honestly I’m dying to come back already. And for those of you wondering if I’ve been offered anything in return for this review, I absolutely have not, this review is from the bottom of my heart, and I truly enjoyed this place so much.

So we ordered the lasagna short ribs and the lobster tempura. The lobster tempura blew our minds first time trying it and it was amazing especially with the sauce! The lasagna was just okay, nothing special.. Service was really good they even brought that little fly fan, first time seeing that in Bali, which was a nice touch. The restaurant looks great inside, cool concept. The music got a bit repetitive but overall, the food and service were good. Prices are on the higher side so we get why it wasn’t busy. The waitress mentioned the chef might remove the lobster tempura which is a shame..hope they keep it because it’s really good!

The most phenomenal food. We were a group of 5 with a couple of dietary requirements, easily catered for with no issues at all.

A charming spot with a beautiful interior and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food and cocktails are excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. The staff are friendly, attentive, and provide exceptional service. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Perfect for a romantic date or a cozy dinner with friends and family.
Fantastic Dinner Experience at Dinner Kong, Berawa
Dinner Kong really impressed! The ambience is spot-on—stylish yet laid-back, with warm lighting and a lively but comfortable vibe. Perfect for a casual night out or a special dinner.
Service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff take pride in creating a great experience.
The highlight for me was the lobster agnolotti pasta—delicate, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. The lobster was fresh and tender, and the sauce elevated every bite. I also had their margarita, which was refreshingly crisp with just the right kick.
Highly recommend if you're in Berawa. Great food, drinks, and a vibe that makes you want to come back.
