We stayed 3 nights here. Staff are amazing and very friendly. We stayed in the old part of the hotel that is next to the mosque. The rooms could use some better sound proofing. Ear plugs were provided, but didn't make much of a difference in my experience as the noise was quite loud. Location is good otherwise as you will be in the center of Kuta, next to bars and restaurants. The private swimming pool for hotel guests only had amazing views of the surroundings. Happy hour cocktails were 👌.

Cecilia is the best. Cecilia at El Tropico Kuta Lombok made my experience unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Her service was professional yet warm, making me feel comfortable and valued as a guest. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist with anything I needed. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such positive energy and care to their work. If you visit El Tropico, I truly hope you meet Cecilia — she is a big part of what makes this place special.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 12 months. The location is very good and well suited to my business needs in Lombok. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the pool area is pleasant.|The staff are generally very friendly, however, around 80% of the team appear to be young trainees, which explains the lack of consistency in service. There is no clear room setup standard, and the check-in process clearly needs improvement. On several occasions, my reservation details were incorrect despite documentation being provided, and basic information such as hotel rules or procedures is not clearly explained at check-in.|The area that most urgently requires improvement is the restaurant. Considering the room rates, the breakfast quality is disappointing. The coffee served is basic filter coffee, and the juices appear to be syrup-based rather than fresh fruit which is surprising in Indonesia, where fresh watermelon or pineapple is readily available and very affordable.|This approach makes the hotel management’s attempt at cost-cutting quite obvious, however, the actual savings seem minimal and result in a clear disappointment from a guest’s point of view, especially when guests are then asked to pay extra for a proper cappuccino or espresso for their breakfast|Overall, the hotel itself is nice and comfortable, for food and coffee not to worry, there are several good-quality options within walking distance, much better quality

We had a great stay in el tropico! The food and the room and pools where beautiful, and the staff like Amar and Andy and all the others where really personal! They remember your name, how you drink your coffee and always willing to have a talk. They even speak a little bit of Dutch . After the first few hours we booked 3 additional nights and definitely coming back to this hotel🤩🙏🏼

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel El Tropico, and a huge part of that is thanks to Andy and Amar and all the other staff! From the very first moment they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We originally planned to stay for just one hour to check the place out… but after that hour we already knew: we’re not leaving. We immediately extended our stay by three more days. Andy and Amar are genuine, caring, and always smiling — exactly the kind of people that turn a nice hotel into an unforgettable experience. Thank you both for your warmth and hospitality. We would come back in a heartbeat. 🌴✨

We never wanted to leave , actually we extended our stay twice 😝 – it’s absolutely amazing here. The hotel layout is fantastic, and the rooms are large and spacious. The pool on the second floor is incredible; we basically spent all our time there 😄 The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Sesilia, Sujar, and the rest of the team are so warm and welcoming – our stay felt very personal and special. Breakfast is also really good, and the location is super convenient. There were a few mosquitoes in the room, which was a bit annoying, but overall we’re extremely happy with our stay and can 100% recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at El Tropico Lombok! The atmosphere is incredibly chilled-out and stylish, truly feeling like a hidden paradise. Our room was super comfortable, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff deserves a special mention, they were all friendly and attentive, making us feel instantly welcome. Especially Sesilia, she was always helpful and friendly with every request and question I asked, thank you Sesilia for making our stay better. The location is also great, offering peace and quiet but still a quick ride to the action. If you're looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and good-value place to unwind in Lombok, look no further. Highly recommend! We can't wait to go back.
