Great pool, very clean and nice to have it just outside the door. Good breakfast and very nice staff. Bed wasn't too comfortable and the place (especially the bathroom) was a little bit dirty. Peaceful and nice little spot.

The stay was great. A petite boutique kind of stay Friendly reception and restaurant staff HOWEVER, the cleaner took my Australian dollars from my wallet ( around 75 dollars ) and I’d hate to write it up but this is what happened. It really disappointed me what they did. I only realised this after I checked out.

Oh my god - this place is really lovely… Quiet, clean, tidy and stylish without being too ‘boutique-y’… Set about 100m back from the coast in a lovely garden - which is a real advantage as some of the bars are quite noisy at night. Only 4 (?) cabins onto a garden and pool. Super helpful staff and a delicious breakfast. Thank you!

Staying at Dolcemare Resort feels like stepping into heaven. The place is simply stunning and incredibly peaceful — a true hidden gem on Gili Air. Everything is so well maintained, from the immaculate gardens to the elegant rooms. The attention to detail is exceptional. The location is unbeatable — just a short 2-minute walk to the best beach on the island, with crystal-clear waters and a serene atmosphere. The resort itself is spotlessly clean, and the food is absolutely delicious. Having travelled for many years around the world i can finally say that the Italian cuisine here at Dolcemare was extremely authentic and delicious : always fresh, high quality, and made with care. The pool is a dream — perfect for unwinding at any time of day. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The owners are masters of hospitality and truly go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. If you want to pamper yourself and fully enjoy everything Gili Air has to offer, book at Dolcemare. You won’t be disappointed. This place has everything you need for a perfect island getaway.

Staff are friendly and breakfast is good but that’s all. The location is unbelievably bad. The local bars stay open until early hours of the morning (beyond what it claims on Google) playing drum and bass that you can feel from the rooms. The bars are ~100m away so you can hear and feel everything. It is possibly the worst accommodation I have ever had the misfortune to stay in, and the owner acknowledges that it usually goes on until 2am but they don’t mention this on any of their listings. If you value sleep do not stay here.

We’ve stayed here several times now and I’m delighted to report that nothing has changed. The staff are amazing. Rooms super clean. The lap pool is excellent and restaurant delicious. The owners are wonderful people and the location is sunset-outstanding. That strip along the beachfront now is being developed and boasts incredible cuisine, the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, sunset bean bags, a gym, scenic massage venue and terrific swimming. It’s fast becoming the go-to part of the island and of course, Dolcemere is a 2 minute walk to the middle of the beachfront options. It’s also close to Oranges, is a wonderful Indonesian local restaurant worth a visit. Hire a push bike and access the entire island in a matter of minutes.

Had a wonderful stay at this traditional style, very arty and well appointed boutique resort. Dolcemare has beautiful grounds and is extremely well located for the best part of Gili Air. Our whole stay was fantastic, loved all the personal and thoughtful touches, such as sarongs and kimonos in the room, and a selection of considerate amenities ranging from toothbrushes, face masks & sanitary products. The staff were fantastic and also organised quality bicycles for us at a very fair cost. The room is artistically decorated, the bed was large and comfortable...also has Netflix if you want a movie. The resort feels very private and only has 5 villas, even though it is quite close to the beach and the busier area of Gili Air. The pool is awesome and great to cool you off or swim laps. Breakfast is included, delicious, extremely fresh (not large portions though). We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend...however you maybe will hear some party noise from beachside bars etc.

This is an amazing resort! Very clean, very well run. The staff is really friendly and the front desk manager Aji was super friendly, efficient and professional. The resort grounds are beautiful and the pool is spectacular. Our room was beautiful, cozy, comfortable and well appointed. Try the Italian restaurant here which opens at 6:30 pm. The food is incredible! This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at in Indonesia. I highly recommend it. It’s got a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere!
