Instead, new projects are concentrating on unique concepts, wellness offerings, personalized services, and destination-based hospitality designed to appeal to higher-value travelers. This shift indicates a transition from a volume-driven growth model to one centered on value creation, where long-term success will depend on product differentiation, pricing power, and profitability rather than just the number of available hotel rooms. Colliers also highlights that travelers are increasingly seeking experience-driven trips, valuing the quality of experiences available in Bali more than just the destination itself. Hotels providing authentic local engagement, wellness programs, and personalized services are expected to outperform those focused solely on expanding room inventory or offering price discounts. Future revenue growth will be more quality-driven, with Average Daily Rate ADR and total revenue per guest becoming more crucial performance indicators than occupancy alone.
